Books read were: Leonardo the Terrible Monster by Mo Willems and The 10-Step Guide to Living With Your Monster by Laura Numeroff. There were more books, but I don't remember the titles.

This week, Bea and Gus have been reading the classic Christmas book, Santa Mouse, by Michael Brown.

Everyone knows that Santa Mouse is Santa's little helper but how did it all come about? Find out in this charming story about a tiny mouse with no name who lived a very lonely life in a very big house. He loved Christmas dearly and had a special present for Santa, but how could he possibly give it to him? After all, he's only a mouse. And how did a little ordinary mouse become Santa Mouse, the helper Santa could never do without?

Bea and Gus have really enjoyed reading this great new book, Where's Walrus, by Stephen Savage.

Our Doctor says that Gus has Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease. He has a skin rash and sores in his mouth and throat that make it hard to swallow. He will be fine in a few days, the sickness has to run its course as there is no medicine or treatment that can help. Bea is beginning to have some of the same symptoms, so she is probably going to be sick also...
